Peace be upon You,

I was born in Baghdad, Iraq, immigrating with my family to Canada at age 13, by GOD’s Grace. 

At age 23, my anxiety and depression drove me to ask the question “GOD, I want to get to know You.”  From there my life changed drastically, and I began writing songs as a way to deal with my feelings.  After much therapy, I went back to school, got my Bachelor’s in Philosophy, Masters in International Development and Globalization, and trained at The Audio Recording Academy in Applied Audio Recording.   

By GOD’s Guidance, I began to produce my own songs, and here we have the Penta.  Five albums, written, performed, and produced entirely by me, through GOD’s Guidance alone. 

As I say, this whole journey has made me realize that GOD is doing everything.  He is the ultimate writer, and I am simply the plastic pen through whom the ink flows, thus witnessing the words being formed.
